FISHERY EXHIBITION
The 7th International Fisheries, Aquaculture and Seafood Exhibition was held in Kish Island in the Persian Gulf in Nov. 25-28, 2009. This Exhibition is the main and largest commercial expo on aquaculture and seafood held annually in Kish Island.
This international exhibition is organized and presented in a time when fishery products are showing their special significance in agricultural economy considering the fact that a big share of the income from agricultural products in industrial and developed countries depends on seafood.
The main purpose of this exhibition was to connect different sections of aquaculture, providing producers with the latest technological know-how in the industry, presenting Iran’s potential in fishery industry, exchanging latest knowhow and modern technologies, marketing for seafood products and attracting investors to develop aquaculture export.
